I'm so sorry I haven't wrote in awhile, Emma. You say funny things almost EVERY DAY and I have a hard time remembering to write them all down. You always make Mommy laugh.
You're really growing up now. In 3 months you will be 3 years old. Where has the time gone?! You're my Sleeping Beauty right now. Even tonight at gymnastics when the substitute teacher asked your name you replied, "Sleeping Beauty." She asked you what your other name is and you replied "Emma Wahnay [Renee]" If you get hurt and you're crying you say "Sweepin' Beauty is crying" It's so cute.
Lately you are enjoying the trips we take to the zoo. Last Monday we watched a cheetah right. You told everyone later that day you watched a "cheetoh" run at the zoo. Then you will stand on one leg and say you're a "mingo" [flamingo]
What really warms Mommy's heart is when I ask you who loves you. You almost always reply that Jesus loves you. You can tell Mommy that Jesus died on a cross and came back to life. That Adam and Eve "ate the stupid apple" You came up with that all by yourself.
Yesterday I dropped an egg on the counter and it smashed everywhere. I let out a loud, "Urggh!!" and you patted my back and said. "It's ok. Relax" ha : )
You tell Mommy that you want a Sleeping Beauty party for your 3rd birthday. At Chuck E. Cheese. You want a pink cake with Sleeping Beauty. A cherry cake with chocolate icing (I'll have to see if they even make cherry flavored birthday cakes- ha)
Every time you find a tampon in my purse you say it's a magic wand. If only you knew...
On a sweeter note we went to Aunt Betty's funeral a couple weeks ago. You looked in the casket at her and you said "She looks gorgeous!" You were ok with everything except the part I tried to explain about her being put in the ground. You informed me that it wasn't very nice.
